Huptech Annual Trip 2026 – Goa

Work hard. Celebrate harder. Reset together.

Some trips are “just a vacation.”This one was something else.

Our team at Huptech is 40 strong, but this time, 33 of us made it to Goa (life schedules happen!). Still, those 33 carried the full spirit of what we’re building: a culture where we take work seriously, and people even more seriously.

And yes, fun fact: this entire trip was planned with the help of ChatGPT, and even this blog is being written with ChatGPT. Because at Huptech, we don’t just talk about AI - we actually use it.

Gujarati mood check: “કામ પણ hard… અને મજા પણ hard!”

The backstory: March vs February

I initially suggested we go in March (better hotel inventory, better options)… But the team voted for February.

So yes, we did peak-season Goa like kings - aka the expensive way. No regrets.

Day 1 - Takeoff, first-time flyers, and late-night gossip (12 Feb)

Our flight took off from Ahmedabad in the evening, and for more than 12 teammates, this was their first time flying. You could feel the energy, excitement, selfies, and that “bro we are actually doing this” vibe.

We landed in Goa around 8 PM.

For travel logistics, we kept it smooth:

  • A bus transfer handled by Shanti Travels (super cooperative and professional)
  • Plus a backup rental car from Revv for flexibility and emergency runs

We reached our stay Grand Continent, Morjim by around 10:30 PM. Dinner happened, the rooms got sorted, and then the real “trip bonding” began.

Because the truth is: The best team conversations happen after dinner. 😄 People were still gossiping and laughing till 2–3 AM.

Day 2 - Fort Aguada, dolphin ride, and the night CO2 became OUR stage (13 Feb)

The next morning started with breakfast at the hotel… Or at least some people made it on time. 😄 A few teammates arrived fashionably late (because Goa + last night gossip = real combo).

Then we moved out for exploring:

Fort Aguada

We explored Fort Aguada, soaked in the history, and took those classic Goa viewpoint photos.

Dolphin Ride

After that came one of the most Goan moments ever, a dolphin ride.Even the quiet people became loud when the dolphin sightings started. 😂

Lunch - “Gujju craving unlocked.”

By lunchtime, one thing was clear: We were missing proper Kathiyawadi food.

So we went full Gujarati mode and landed at Rajwadi Kathiyawadi Dhaba. Because no matter where we travel… Kathiyawadi toh Kathiyawadi j che. 😄

“Goa ma pan Kathiyawadi… ek number!”

Evening - Cafe CO2 (Sunset + performance + DJ + dance)

Then came the highlight for many of us: Cafe CO2.

The view. The sunset. The terrace energy. The performances. The crowd. It wasn’t just a party - it was a full experience.

We came as a group of 33, and the way they handled us was top class:

  • They gave our team a shoutout on the mic
  • Multiple live performances
  • Great DJ set
  • Food and drinks were on point
  • And the vibe became unforgettable after 9:30 PM

A massive shoutout to Kabir (Manager). He was extremely supportive and ensured everything happened exactly as discussed. That kind of professionalism is rare when you’re handling a large group.

And as if the night wasn’t special enough, we realized it was Hiya’s birthday (our UI/UX Designer). So yes… we celebrated her birthday right there in the middle of the Goa party vibe. 🎂🔥

We partied till midnight and beyond then headed back to the hotel.

Day 3 - Morjim sunrise, slow Goa, and a surprise Carnival moment (14 Feb)

The next morning, a small group of early birds went for sunrise at Morjim Beach.

And honestly, it was the calmest, most peaceful part of the trip. The kind of silence that resets your brain.

Then came breakfast, and the day stayed intentionally slow:

  • Enjoying the property
  • Nearby beach exploring
  • Small shopping scenes
  • Tote bags, local souvenirs, and Goa’s famous kaju (of course 😄)

The evening came, and we switched gears.

Big Daddy Casino Night

We headed to Big Daddy Casino and had one of those “we’ll talk about this for months” nights.

A lot of teammates experienced a casino for the first time, and it was hilarious watching everyone learn the vibes:

  • Some went straight to try their luck
  • Some enjoyed the performances and shows
  • Some were just there for the experience and unlimited dinner + drinks

And the cherry on top: we got lucky and caught Goa Carnival vibes around the same time the city felt extra alive, colorful, and festive that night.

Also, yes… a few people won decent money. And then immediately, the next discussion started: “Okay, now where do we spend this?” 😂

Day 4 - Back to reality (15 Feb)

Checkout came early. Bags packed. Breakfast done.We left for the airport around 8:30 AM, and by afternoon, we were back in Ahmedabad.

But something had shifted.

Not just because we traveled. Because we connected beyond tasks, beyond Slack threads, beyond deadlines.

The real takeaway: Culture is built in moments like this

At Huptech, we’re building a company where:

  • We ship, and we deliver
  • We learn fast
  • We use AI practically
  • And we invest in the team beyond work

Trips like this remind us that the “team” is not a department. It’s the core engine.

“Team strong toh company strong.” 💪

Bonus: How we managed photos like pros (with AI)

Instead of sending 500 images on WhatsApp, we used MemoryLens an AI photo-sharing app where:

  • Everyone uploads photos
  • The app detects your face
  • And it shows you all the photos you appear in (even if someone else uploaded them)

Simple. Smart. No chaos.

Want to work where “work with fun” is real?

If you’re the kind of person who loves:

  • building e-commerce experiences,
  • moving fast, Working Hard, then smart
  • learning daily,
  • and being part of a team that celebrates wins…

Then you’ll fit right in.
